Maintaining the availability of equipment and systems

This is any scheduled intervention, based on pre-established standards (CC/NO CC), aimed at maintaining the availability of equipment and systems.

The main purpose of preventive maintenance is to avoid the risk of breakdowns and/or malfunctions in equipment, thus ensuring its reliability. Preventive maintenance should mainly include a planning map with control, monitoring and inspection routines for each piece of equipment, as well as an equipment record sheet.

Basic maintenance procedures should be planned according to the characteristics of the equipment.
