Serlusa, initially called Mantela Portugal - Refrigerantes, Lda., set up in Portugal in January 1998.This first phase of the company's life was closely linked to the major national event that was EXPO 98. In fact, it was within the framework of this Exhibition that the company started its activity, with Refrige SA, its main client, as its partner, in charge of distributing the Coca Cola brand in Portugal. In fact, the exhibition itself involved a fairly significant volume of this brand's soft drinks, which were made available to the public in dispensing and vending machines. Thus, during this event, Serlusa was responsible for ensuring the correct operation of these machines, particularly in terms of technical maintenance of the refrigeration systems, as well as their supply. This phase of the company's life required a significant contribution of technical and human resources, which could only be implemented on the ground with the help of the know-how and management skills of the Spanish parent company. After the event, the company remained in Spain, working with Refrige in a strategic partnership to satisfy Refrige's customers, where the well-known soft drink brand's dispensing and vending machines are installed. Over its two decades of existence, the company has grown at a sustained pace, having created its own systems to increase productivity and guarantee a quality service, supported by a strengthened internal management capacity. Since 2013, Serlusa has won over new leading clients such as Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Portugália, Domino's Pizzerias and IBERSOL, and currently has a workforce of around 65 employees and a fleet of 46 light commercial vehicles fully equipped to meet customer needs. Our technical independence, the result of continuous investment in human resources and infrastructure such as workshops, warehouses and service vehicles, demonstrates our availability and ability to respond to the growing demands of the market. The implementation of management systems, quality and environmental policies, continuous training of our human resources, as well as interaction and learning with our customers, allows us to continuously improve the products and services we offer. LocationAt the time of its creation, Serlusa, formerly Mantela, was located at the client's premises in Lumiar between 1998 and 2007. It then moved to rented premises in the Primóvel Business Park in Albarraque until 2011. From 2011 to 2015, Serlusa returned to the client's premises in Lumiar. From 2015 to the present day, Serlusa Refrigerantes, Lda. acquired its own premises located at Rua da Câmara, Lote 3 - Cabra Figa, 2635-116 Rio de Mouro. These comprise a warehouse with a covered area of 2000 m² and an office area of approximately 400 m², set in a plot of 6000 m². Serlusa is bordered to the east by residential houses, to the north by an industrial warehouse (Alloga), to the west by a disused business area and to the south by residential houses. There is no watercourse or green space nearby. |
